Recommend a family and save on your next trip

Our ‘Recommend a Family’ scheme rewards our loyal customers for sharing the news about Explore with friends and family. 

Have you travelled on at least one Explore trip? if you know an active family that would suit an Explore adventure, why not introduce them - if they book a family trip with us, you'll both benefit from $350 off your next trip! This is uncapped and you can use all your credit together to use against your next Explore small group tour, Family or non-Family.

All you have to do is ask your friend/s when they book their first trip with us (by phone or email) to quote ‘Recommend a Family’ along with your unique reference number. And as a little thank you to them, when they do, they will save $350 on their first Explore Family holiday.

Don’t know your reference number? Just give us a call or email us and we’ll give you your unique number to share with your friends.

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for the Recommender: 

  1. The offer is available to Explore customers who recommend someone who books an Explore trip from our “Family” range, having never travelled with Explore before. 
  2. Recommenders will receive a $350 Explore credit for each booking they generate (no maximum); note that the credit is issued on a per booking basis (not per passenger).  
  3. The recommended person must quote Recommend a Family when they book, together with the recommender’s unique reference number; Explore will then apply a $350 per booking discount to the recommended person booking (conditions apply: see below) and within seven working days of the booking being confirmed register a $350 credit for the recommender. 
  4. Only customers who have travelled with Explore previously are eligible to receive Recommend a Family credits.   
  5. Credits are valid for bookings made within one year of the issue date, although travel can be later. 
  6. Credits can only be redeemed against new bookings; they cannot be redeemed against the balance on existing bookings. 
  7. Credits may not be exchanged for cash and are non-transferrable.  
  8. Credits can be used in conjunction with other offers, including the Explore loyalty offer. 
  9. Staff, agents and affiliates of Explore and group companies are not eligible for this offer.  
  10. Explore reserves the right to cancel credits should the recommended person cancel their booking.   
  11. Explore reserves the right to refuse to issue credits should the Recommend a Family offer be misused. 
  12. The credit will be issued in the same currency as the referred customer’s booking:  
  13. When the credit is issued instructions on how to redeem it will be provided.   
  14. There is no end date for this offer but Explore reserves the right to withdraw it at any time; should the offer be withdrawn credits already issued will remain valid. 
  15. Credits can not be used towards Private Tours or Exclusive Groups. 
  16. Recommend a Family discounts are only available on bookings made directly with Explore. 

   
Terms and Conditions for Recommended customers: 

  1. The $350 per booking discount is available to new-to-Explore customers booking a trip from the “Family” range, having been recommended by an existing customer. We regret the offer cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings. 
  2. Recommended customers must quote Recommend a Family when they book, together with the recommender’s unique reference number; Explore will then apply a $350 per person discount to the recommended person. 
  3. Note that prices shown on the Explore website do not include the discount. 
  4. The offer is applicable on any Explore trip in the “Family” range, subject to availability. 
  5. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check the “Recommend a Family” offer has been applied. 
  6. The offer can normally be used in conjunction with other promotions. 
  7. Staff, agents and affiliates of Explore and group companies are not eligible for this offer 
  8. The offer is subject to availability and Explore reserves the right to withdraw it at any time. 
  9. Recommend a Family discounts can not be used towards Private Tours or Exclusive Groups 
  10. All Family trip bookings made through this scheme are subject to the usual Family T&Cs.
