From rainforest trails and exotic wildlife to the bright lights and lively markets of Bangkok, our tours to Thailand will take you to the iconic sights and hidden gems that abound in this beautiful country. We recommend spending 11 to 17 days to experience the best of Thailand.
Here are just a few of the highlights:
1. Bangkok
The majority of our tours to Thailand begin in its vibrant capital. See tuk-tuks darting through crowded streets, street food stalls filled with fragrant Thai dishes and enjoy a visit to the Emerald Buddha at the Grand Palace. You can also take a train to explore the dazzling lights and incredible cuisine on offer at Bangkok's Chinatown after dark.

2. Elephant conservation
Escape the rush of the city with a visit to the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai on our Best of Northern Thailand Tour. This conservation centre specialises in the rescue and rehabilitation of sick or mistreated elephants and offers a chance to see these incredible animals up close. Walk along the riverbanks as they bathe and play in the shallow waters.
3. Khao Sok National Park
On our Simply Thailand Tour, explore one of the world’s oldest rainforests, walking along the lush trails of Khao Sok National Park. Canoe through turquoise waters, take in the region’s iconic limestone cliffs and dramatic islands and join a night walk to spot tigers, elephants and sun bears.
4. Idyllic island hopping
Hop aboard a private longtail boat for a gentle cruise along Phang Nga Bay to the island of Koh Yao Noi on our Thailand Islands Tour. Take in the region’s lush forests, swim in crystal-clear waters and relax on golden beaches. You can also take a ferry to Koh Phi Phi Le – the rugged and beautiful setting for the film 'The Beach'.
Discover our Upgraded – Thailand Beach Extension to also explore the lush island of Koh Samet – the perfect place to enjoy crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches.
5. Local culture
Immerse yourself in the local culture with a trip to the small rural settlements of Na Ton Chan. This remote village is home to skilled artisan workers crafting a range of bamboo wares, from cups to chopsticks. Enjoy in a local homestay and savour a home-cooked Thai meal while learning about rural lifestyles on our Northern Thailand Tour.
6. Family adventures
With its welcoming reputation, invigorating culture and delicious cuisine, Thailand is one of the most popular family travel destinations in the world, with a range of exciting activities suitable for all ages. On our Family Thailand Active Jungle and Beach Adventure, go island-hopping, kayak through rainforest rivers, snorkel coral reefs off Koh Phangan, and even spot pink dolphins off the coast of Khanom.

For tours in northern Thailand and along the Andaman coast on the west of Thailand’s southern peninsula the winter months of November, December, January and February tend to boast the best of the warm and dry conditions, which offers the perfect conditions for island-hopping in Thailand, including stop-offs at Krabi and Koh Lanta.
