Our 2019 overall winner comes from Martin Cobley in Nepal; “A moment of calm in the bustle of Kathmandu.”

“Not as famous as The Treasury, but after a spectacular hike up from our desert campsite, it felt as  though The Monastery was our private discovery in Petra.”

“This astonishing freshwater caldera sits on the edge of Easter Island, famous around the world for its iconic statues.”

“This photo shows some of the Explore group making their way along a stretch of the Great Wall to Jinshanling. The views were stunning in every direction!”

“Butterflies are virtually impossible to photograph successfully but yet so beautiful, delicately  fluttering above the forest floor but live for just a few days. This Blue Clipper (Parthenos Sylvia) was  photographed taking nectar from a hibiscus flower.”
