Areas of expertise: Central and Western Europe, the Baltics

Laurie has been exposed to a variety of cultures throughout her life. Born and raised in France, she had the chance to travel from a very young age with her parents to visit their homelands, Martinique and French Guiana. The initial cultural shock eased over time and became something she looked forward to as she grew up. She came to realise that spending her holidays playing in the river in the Amazonian jungle was not common, which fuelled her desire to discover more about the world. This started with studying languages and culture at university, and now she shares her knowledge and passion for travel through her dream job at Explore.
