Areas of expertise: Global Product, Latin America

After living and working in Ecuador kick-started an early fascination with the region, Carmel has spent much of her life finding reasons to return to Latin America. Since then, she's travelled extensively from Mexico to Patagonia, including a 'pinch me' year spent working and travelling around the Caribbean. One of her most memorable solo travel experiences was taking a night train through Kazakhstan and being thrust into sharing a meal with her bunkmates, despite having no common language beyond a love of tea and trains. As Head of Product, she's now expanded her love of travel globally, and outside work, you'll find her walking, cycling, or searching for mountains.
