When to Travel

The climate is both Mediterranean and Atlantic. The dry, hot season is from May to October when summer temperatures can reach 38°C in the day at lower ground, cooling off at night. From December to January snow can be expected on mountain passes and it can be wet. In winter, day temperatures will be around 18-25°C, perfect for exploring the souks.  May and June are pleasant for trekking and those interested in mountain flowers; By July and August, all winter snows have gone; in September and October, the summer’s heat moderates and first light winter snows begin to fall.

COLOURFUL, ENCHANTING, DIVINE

Morocco is an exotic mix of mountains, coastal towns and beaches, vast deserts and entertaining cities. It’s the exotic gateway to Africa, only a short flight from Europe, yet world’s apart.  It is a beautiful and captivating country to visit all year round.

“A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE MOROCCAN HIGHLIGHTS”

Fes

Morocco-Chouwara-Tanneries

"With a labyrinth of narrow streets, walking through the medina is like stepping back in time. Enjoy watching the artisans at work, bartering in the souks and eating in the street-front restaurants, while soaking up the buzz of Fes el-Bali"

Erg Chebbi

Morocco-Erg-Chebbi

“Camel trekking or dune bashing on the mammoth Saharan sand dunes at Erg Chebbi. After enjoying a beautiful sunset, experience a cooked meal in a traditional Berber camp and sleep beneath a blanket of stars. Just magical "

Imlil

Morocco-Imlil

“Set in the foothills of the High Atlas mountains, Imlil is a tranquil retreat after trekking to the summit of Mount Toubkal. Also a great base for day walks, the small village has stunning mountain views"
