It was amazing seeing the whales from the land in Hermanus, best time for this is Sept/ Oct, however we saw plenty of whales in early Nov. St Lucia was another surprise, great wildlife and beach. The bbq lunch at the beach was a great. There is a whale watching trip in St Lucia which is an optional extra, its worth bearing in mind the sea is really rough here and and you are being driven into the big waves.
