What an amazing and diverse country, full of history, culture and stunning scenery. This tour provides the perfect balance to enjoy and marvel at the history of the Inca’s, but to also enjoy the local hospitality and warmth of the people who welcomed us when visiting the towns and villages. Undoubtedly the highlight is the Inca Trail trek which took my breath away, revealing dramatic landscapes and views across the Andes that can only be found by foot, whilst the open sided wooden jungle huts nestled deep into the Amazon jungle took us into a whole new experience. It was like two adventures in one! (PMA - June 2011)

A great trip with a well thought out itinerary.  Spectacular scenery throughout.  Good accomodation and guides too. Doing the trail to macchu picchu over 4 days allowed time to visit the inca ruins along the way and ensured quiet and beautiful camp sites. Amazon extension well worth it... in a fantastic lodge.  Our advice - from Puno vist the Uros islands but skip the long slow boatride to tacquille and have an afternoon off travelling and get used to the altitude.  2. exchange money to nuevo sols n the UK (only need dollars for the explore bookings/rentals)  3.take the train option from Puno to Cusco... luxury! and 4. try to avoid flying with iberia....it's a long way and the service and comfort on the airline wasn't great!
