I have now been on 8 Explore trips but this remains one of my favourites. The scenery was fantastic and I loved just relaxing on the boats as we travelled between the islands. My highlights include the approach to Santorini in the boat as we viewed the cliffs and the walk which we did between Fira and Oia on Santorini. I liked it particularly because, at any point in the walk, we could look back to see where we had come from and look forward to see the rest of the route. At the end of the walk there was a beautiful sunset in Oia. At the end of the trip, I wished we could stay on Naxos for another day instead of returning to Athens. (GW - 1st July 2000)

This trip was fanastic. It was our honeymoon and we wanted an adventure tour to remember. The tour, tour guide Elaine, and tour participants made it a trip to remember. Seeing the Acropolis, climbing Mt. Zeus, exploring the cave on Anti Paros, dining and watching the sunset on Santorini, and learning the history of the Greeks made for a trip that I guarantee we will always cherish. The small family run hotels were always clean, secure and friendly. The tavernas for dinner and lunch were always enjoyable and made for tasting the different foods very interesting and safe. The tour guide Elaine, well, we cannot say enough great things about her. Her energy and knowledge made each hike and tour interesting and enjoyable. In fact, we never missed a single hike, walk, or tour. We didn't want to miss anything. Allison and I continue to recommend this tour to all our friends and we will definitely be on another.
