Visit Inle Lake
Taking a long tailed boat you will visit the floating market, local villages, floating gardens, and see the skilful fishermen rowing with one leg. You will have the opportunity to meet skilled artisans in cottage industries such as paper, silver, silk, cotton weaving, cheroot making, blacksmiths and umbrella making – may not be possible to see all of these, depends on the day. You tour will finish with a visit to Nga Phae Chaung (jumping cat) monastery

This morning take a boat trip up the small scenic creek that runs into Inle, continuing to Indain on the west side of the lake, where you disembark and explore the 1000 stupas overlooking the lake.

Transfer to Kalaw
Taking a public train, you leave Inle Lake and head for Kalaw, stopping off en route at Myinmathi Cave to see its many Buddha images and small stupas. You arrive at Kalaw late afternoon.

Mingun and Mandalay
Taking a short ride upriver you visit the mammoth base of an unfinished Mingun bell and pagoda, which was due to be world's largest pagoda, however building stopped in 1819 due to the death of King Bodawpaya. This afternoon enjoy a tour of Mandalay, including the Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned as the world's largest book for its 729 stone slabs containing the entire Buddhist scriptures, and Mandalay Hill for a sunset views over the city and Ayeyarwaddy River.

Amarapura and Inwa sightseeing
This morning you travel to Inwa and have a traditional horse cart ride around the ancient capital to see Manu Ok Kaung, a yellow stucco monastery, Bagaya Kyaung Monastery with its enormous teak wood pillars and the Leaning Tower of Inwa, known as the ‘wonky watch tower’. Your journey continues to the ancient royal capital Amarapura, to visit Mahagondayon Monastery and take a walk out onto U Bein Bridge the longest teakwood bridge in the world. You also have the opportunity of visiting cottage craft industries such as cotton and silk weaving, which have a very different style to those of Inle Lake. You return to Mandalay late afternoon.

Bagan Sightseeing
Today you head to the plains of Bagan, which are studded with literally thousands of 1000 year old temples, stopping along the way at Phya Saw to see the traditional ways of life of the local villagers. After, you will stop at the Manuha, Nanpaya, Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi and Dhamayasaka temples before continuing on a horse drawn carriage around the temples, stopping for a memorable sunset view at the upper terraces of one of the temples.
