Ascend Nepals Highest Trekking Peak

Overview

Following quiet trails through villages, the first part of this trek takes us into the Hinku Valley and to the base of Mera Peak, with plenty of time built in for acclimatisation along the way. There is then the chance to summit Nepal’s highest trekking peak, Mera Peak (6476m). From the summit we are surrounded by five of the world’s 8000m peaks, Kanchengjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Everest.

Tour Highlights

  • Mera Peak - Stand on the summit of Nepal's highest trekking peak, Mera Peak, 6476m. Tired legs are rewarded with stunning views of Kanchenjunga, Makalu and the Everest range
  • Hinku Valley - Trek following the old trade routes through the Hinku Valley to the base of Mera Peak
  • Camping - Tackle the trail the traditional way by camping each night
  • Kathmandu - Explore the old quarter, temples and bazaars of the capital
