Mallorca is 'fashionable and desirable, says estate agent
People planning hiking holidays to the Spanish island of Mallorca will find that there is a lot to do across the region.
The largest Spanish island is great for people who enjoy watersports or just being near the sea, as the coastal towns - such as Port de Soller - are delightful and historical.
Ignacio Osle, sales and marketing director of Taylor Wimpey de Espana, a Spanish estate agents, said that the island is receiving a boost for many different reasons.
"The island is already noted for being fashionable, desirable and fantastic for boat owners and beach-lovers alike," he said.
Still, the island offers a great hiking holidays, one being a beautiful walk through the peaks of the Tramuntana mountains.
Recent figures released in the air transport association ACI Europe's Airport Traffic Report for March and the first quarter of 2011 revealed that overall passenger traffic at European airports increased by 5.4 per cent.
