Nervous single travellers could find peace of mind if they go with a guided tour group
Less confident travellers who are nervous about embarking on a single holiday in China should consider joining a small guided tour group, it has been suggested.
Paul Bondsfield, head of marketing at Round the World Experts, expressed his belief that these packages offered holidaymakers peace of mind as their accommodation and travel was already included.
"There is a wide choice available and you'll see some of the most iconic attractions in as little as ten days," he said.
Mr Bondsfield added that those who to plan to travel solo are increasingly likely to travel across the country via train or coach.
Last month, TripAdvisor's published its annual Travel Trends Survey which revealed that two-thirds of Britons are planning to take a long-haul holiday in 2011.
Overall, one in ten UK consumers are planning to travel more on holiday in 2011 than they did this year.
