Zaranda Sa Torre, in the town of Lucmayor, receives plaudit
People planning solo holidays to Mallorca are in for a gastronomic treat as a fourth restaurant based on the Spanish island has been awarded a Michelin star.
The Zaranda Sa Torre restaurant, which is based in the large town of Llucmayor, was awarded its first Michelin star with the latest release by the tyre manufacturer and restaurant review company.
Zaranda Sa Torre is located in the town's luxury Hilton Hotel, but diners do not have to be a guest at the establishment to eat there.
Some things that people can expect to see on the menu are roasted lamb's belly and loin with spiced gravy and chickpeas, or black poached egg with cuttlefish caviar.
Top chef Fernando Perez Arellano helms the kitchen, who has created a menu of modern Mediterranean and international cuisine.
The other three restaurants with a Michelin star on Mallorca are Tristan, Es Moli d'en Bou and Es Raco d'es Teix.
