People planning adventure travel tours may wish to take a trip to Turkey
People planning adventure travel tours may wish to take a trip to Turkey, as it represents good value for money in a country that is partly in Asia.
Tolga Tuyluoglu, who is the director for the United Kingdom and Ireland at Turkish Culture and Tourism Office, said that the country also offers beautiful beaches alongside a fascinating history.
"Turkey still represents excellent value for money. Standards of accommodation and service are high and the exchange rate for Sterling is good, so you can afford to enjoy yourself on holiday," he said.
"I believe that most people will still want their week or two in the sun, and Turkey is a great all-round choice. As well as having fantastic beach resorts, Turkey also provides plenty of history and a rich culture to explore."
The director also said there are a high proportion of repeat visitors to the country, proving its allure.
