Oman is the "all in one" destination for those seeking adventure, heritage and culture
Travellers seeking out adventure holidays abroad should consider a trip to Oman, as the Asian country offers culture, heritage and adventure.
That is according to an article on The Malay Mail, which claims Oman provides activities for everyone, including ones for the thrill-seeking types.
"From a scenic boat ride to catch friendly dolphins swimming in the sea, to desert safari and sand dune adven¬tures, Oman will soon be top of the list for many tourists seeking a well rounded adventure holiday," the news provider states.
It also claims that the locals are friendly and kind and that the area will "captivate" visitors with its diverse landscapes.
However, it is also stressed that visitors should remember that shopping times differ from western countries and many shops close from 12pm until 4pm on Friday's as a sign of respect for prayers.
The Oman landscape includes mountain ranges, which run along the north and south east of the country, and desert plains, which cover most of the country's centre.
