Middle East is full of history and culture, says expert
Travellers planning an activity holiday in the Middle East will discover the region offers a range of experiences.
That is according to Nadine Hallak, marketing and PR executive at Cheapflights Media, who claimed the Middle East is packed with "history, culture, sites, sounds, smells, souks".
She said: "The region also gave birth to the Monotheistic religions, so, while it may not be obvious to the West, it actually features some of the world's most stunning churches, the site where Christ himself was baptised, and, even more of a surprise, historical synagogues in places like Lebanon, that are now being refurbished."
Ms Hallak added that younger visitors will also be to enjoy the stunning nightlife that is prevalent in the region.
Marketing insights consultancy SCB Partners has published its Trend Predictions report which reveals that more travellers are expected to visit older areas of the Middle East, such as Damascus, instead of the new cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
