Adventure travellers in the Indian subcontinent can try and spot tigers
People planning to take an adventure holiday to the Indian subcontinent should consider animal-spotting in Nepal.
That is according to travel writer Christopher Hudson, who noted in the Daily Mail that spotting tigers in the country is one of the "greatest experiences" one can do in Asia.
He noted: "I was here on a mission to bring together, in the space of one short holiday, two of the greatest experiences the subcontinent could offer. One was to fly over the summit of Everest. The other was to track down a tiger."
The travel author goes on to write about the moment when he first saw the majestic beast in all its glory.
"The flash of yellow composed itself into a round face some 30 yards away. The tiger had been weighing up a nearby young rhino, deciding it was too big to bother with. As it saw us, it paused and, for several seconds, looked back at us," he recalled.
